Test Book Ch 6

I cry at the most foolish things you could imagine.
Watching the sunset in an unfamiliar place is one of those.
"Aella? Are you alright?" Xene sat down next to me,  playing with her emerald sun charm.
That was her power charm, she had been given it at birth.
"I am fine." I touched my own power charm, a silver pentagram.
"You miss Melanin Town, do you not?" Xene sighed.
"Yes, I do. I miss being Hélène of the North, now, I am Aella the Blood Witch." I started to cry at this. "I cannot become a common woman without always looking behind my back in fear of Sophos coming up behind me with a pointy reckoning of power and draining my magic and life."
"You do not need to fear that here. Sophos would never search here, all know of you distaste of the dragons." Xene looked down examining her palms, she had always been a skilled palm reader.
"I also fear that  will loose Aleanathem. I have never fallen for any creature, and I've seen the way male creatures look at you, even some females- I do not judge them- and I envy you that. No male has ever looked at me and then you and still only seen me… it sounds selfish… But it is a true fear of mine." I sighed, attempting to dry my tears.
"It is a rightful fear Aella. But fear not, I have my eyes on a wizard." Xene laughed.
"Who? Not Sophos."
"No, Aella. Not Sophos." Xene said, getting up and jumping down the Cliffside, only to land safely on her feet at the mouth of Fet'ath's cave.
"Aella!"
"Aleanathem! Hello." I stood up, facing him.
"Xene said for me to follow at a distance and I would find you." Aleanathem looked down with only his beautiful brown eyes.
"Xene is a smart witch, I'll give her that." I laughed, grinning.
"She is… But she seems… Distant when I am around you."
"She is. She lost her husband about a year ago, she has never fully recovered." I sighed.
"I pity her for that." He said, wrapping his arms delicately around my waist, like if he held me to tightly I might shatter, as a porcelain doll.
"She does not like pity much." I smiled, giving the elf prince a peck on the lips.
With the luck I'd been having for the past few days, that moment  just happened to be when a chorus of snarls and growls came from the valley below.

Aleanathem and I scrambled to the ground,  a gathering of dragons was snarling at each other, and began to speak in our tongue.
"These witches are not to be trusted, Fet'ath. They are as dangerous as Helen." Glile, the only other dragon I knew personally, hissed.
"Yet you personally know them. Xene and Aella, step forward." Fet'ath called our names, and Glile's nostrils flared.
"Why do you seek refuge here?" Another female dragon spoke to us.
"We are being hunted like wild dogs." Xene scowled at her.
"Runeze, be kind." I could recognize the Green Fire dragons by paintings of them I had seen, the speaker had been Senth.
"Senth, we have no comprehension of their trustworthiness yet." Jomam hissed at us.
"We have no proof that they are false either, Jomam." Torvald blinked his flaming red eyes at us.
"You are all right. Let them prove their trueness." Inara the Song Maker, a great unicorn, came trotting forward, followed by her herd.
"Who has summoned  for their tests?" Glile questioned her.
"All creatures who dare not mingle with the human commons." Leona the Dream Maker whinnied into the air.
"We will show them kindness until the Council is truly called." Summer the Snow Maker cantered forward, jumping about nervously at the sight of me.
